The Entrepreneur Society (ESo) is a student-led non-profit committee founded with the vision and mission to create a platform to foster the entrepreneurial spirit among the HKU community. Founded in 2019, ESo has established strong partnerships with venture capitals, accelerators, faculties and other student organizations.

Mission Statement
As a student-led non-profit committee, ESo create a platform for ideas to be shared, developed and realized with cross-faculty collaborations through hosting interactive activities that encourage early-stage ideation to workshops that validate business ideas.
Values
- Creativity: allow members to equip themselves with the necessary soft skills in the realm of entrepreneurship as well as harnessing their creativity to convey persuasive yet practical ideas in front of their peers.
- Community: aim to help like-minded individuals form a bond and subsequently a community within the premises of HKU.

ESo Ventures
ESo Ventures is Entrepreneur Society’s latest initiative to bridge early-stage startups in Hong Kong with Angel Investors. As an ESo Ventures associate, you are tasked to write startup investment proposals and conduct due diligence for angels in our network.
Joining ESo Ventures presents an opportunity for university students to gain more awareness of the overall startup ecosystem in Hong Kong while harnessing both soft and technical skills when writing detailed reports for our partners.
Strategic Development Team
By joining the Strategic Development Team (Strat Dev Team), associates will be the heart and mind of Entrepreneur Society. As an associate for the Strat Dev Team, you will be tasked to create synergies with our existing initiatives with the aim to increase ESo’s exposure and presence within Hong Kong’s startup ecosystems and HKU.
The key takeaways for being a Strat Dev Associate is that you will gain more exposure to Hong Kong’s startup ecosystem and increasing your personal network. On top of that, Associates are expected to harness their innovative and creative skillsets to execute key initiatives through the academic year.
