HKU-Nestlé Hong Kong Joint University Case Competition 2026
HKU Business School collaborates with Nestlé Hong Kong to organize the HKU-Nestlé Hong Kong Joint University Case Competition 2026 in April 2026. This competition is the annual signature event of HKU International Case Society (HICS), a student-run organization supported by the School which aims at facilitating mutual learning, networking, and a constant exchange of ideas among like-minded individuals. Students who participated in the competition are anticipated to strengthen their case competition techniques.
Apart from HICS members from HKU Business School, undergraduate students from City University of Hong Kong, The Chinese University of Hong Kong and The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology will also take part in this competition to compete for the Championship.
The competition comprises the Preliminary Round, Division Round and Grand Final Round.
The Preliminary Round was conducted by each participating institution in early 2026. 4 shortlisted representing teams from each participating institution will take part in the Division Round in the morning of April 19, 2026. A total of 16 teams will compete in 4 divisions. Each division consists of teams from 4 different universities. The best team from each division will enter the Grand Final Round.
The Grand Final Round takes place in the afternoon of April 19, 2026. The judging panel, consists of senior management from Nestlé Hong Kong and leaders from various industries, will select the winning teams (Champion, 1st Runner-up and 2nd Runner-up) among the four finalists. Best Presenter will also be identified.
Before the competition, an Industry Talk will be conducted by Nestlé Hong Kong where students will be able to gain better insight into the business of Nestlé Hong Kong as well as the industry before the case cracking.
