BE82/713	Application for Exemption from CAES1001 Academic Communication in English (Only for students admitted to HKU Business School in 2025-26 through the non-JUPAS/International Admissions or Mainland Admissions Scheme) Deadline: July 31, 2025 (Thursday) 23:59 (Hong Kong Time) Note: For freshmen who have received and/or accepted their admission offer on or after July 25, 2025, the Faculty Office will inform them of the application details by email separately. For freshmen admitted through JUPAS or SNDAS who have achieved Level 5 or above in English Language in the 2025 HKDSE examination, exemption from CAES1001 Academic Communication in English (ACE) requirement will be granted automatically and an application for exemption is NOT required. ACE is optional for exempted students and optional students may take ACE as an elective on a non-credit bearing basis during their first year of studies.
