
ABOUT THE PROGRAMME
The HKUBS x ACCA AI in Business Programme provides undergraduate students with a distinguished opportunity to explore artificial intelligence and emerging technologies through company visits and interactions with industry professionals in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area. Participants will engage deeply with industry, connect with ACCA members and senior executives, and gain practical insights into applying AI in real-world scenarios. The programme will conclude with a closing ceremony and student reflective presentations.

AI Live Showcase Tour – A guided, interactive experience at a leading provider of intelligent workplace solutions, featuring hands-on demos of real AI applications that transform daily office work, including practical tools relevant to finance and operations
AI Workshop cum mini Hackathon – Industry sharing by a senior executive on AI projects and practical use cases, insights from a global leader in cloud AI technology on market trends, and a facilitated hands-on AI group challenge
Networking lunch at ACCA Hong Kong Office with ACCA members and industry representatives
Pre-programme online learning modules from the ACCA AI Hub
Company visits in Greater Bay Area
Note: Activities and company visits are tentative and subject to change based on local conditions or availability.
ELIGIBILITY
All HKU Business School Undergraduate Students. Year 1 students are also welcome.
Students with the following attributes:
- Demonstrated interest in AI and emerging technology
- Passion for understanding business developments in China
- Open and critical mindset
- Basic level of Mandarin
PROGRAMME SCHEDULE
October 13 - 14, 2026
A one-hour on-campus pre-departure briefing will be held in early October 2026. Students are also required to attend a post-trip closing session one evening in late October 2026.

REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT
Selected student participants must pay a refundable deposit of HK$2,000 upon acceptance of offer. For deposit refund, students are expected (i) to attend the Briefing Session, the Closing Ceremony cum Student Reflection Sharing and (ii) to attend ALL activities arranged during programme period. Unless justification with supporting document(s) (e.g. a medical certificate) is provided, the deposit will NOT be refunded should students fail to meet the aforementioned attendance requirement.
