Introduction

“Connectivity in AI” is a new student enrichment programme connecting HKU Business School students to the industry through a series of firm visits, guest talks and workshop. 

 

Programme Objective

- To provide students with a vision of how AI supports various industry needs and business functions, guiding them in preparing during their university studies. 

 

Programme Details

Date: March 12 - 14, 2026 | Thu to Sat (Reading Week in the 2nd Semester of AY 2025-26)

- Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA)

 

Eligibility

All HKUBS UG students with - 
(i) demonstrated a keen interest in Artificial Intelligence (AI) in relation to their academic study and professional development; and
(ii) outstanding engagement in the University life/activities

 

Application

The programme application will begin in mid-January 2026. Please stay tuned for the email promotion from the UG Student Enrichment team.

 

Selection Criteria

All interested students are required to complete the following:

 

- Complete and submit the online application form by the indicated deadline.

- Students will be asked to upload the following documents through the application form: 

 

1. Business Portrait Photo

2. Most updated Curriculum Vitae (CV)

3. Answering the following questions which is incorporated in the online programme application

    - Illustration of why you wish to join the "Connectivity in AI" Programme
    - Your expectations from joining the "Connectivity in AI" Programme

    - How is the programme experience essential to your personal/academic/career planning?

    - Please elaborate on the essential quality that you possess, which is crucial for participating in this programme.

 

Programme fee

A refundable deposit of HK$2,000 has to be paid by shortlisted student participants. The deposit will be refunded to students upon successful completion of the programme, inclusive of submission of a programme-end evaluation and a reflection report. Please note that full attendance at every arranged activity is expected; otherwise, the refundable deposit will be fully forfeited.
