Happy New Year! Calling all poker enthusiasts for exciting news!

In early 2024, in partnership with Jane Street, four student societies from Hong Kong and Macao proudly announced the inaugural HK & Macao Cross-Uni Student-Run Poker Tournament. Our objective is to establish a platform for students to gain trading insights through poker and cultivate meaningful connections.

Poker, characterized by incomplete information and uncertainty, serves as a valuable application of game theory concepts and decision-making skills essential to trading. Traders and poker players adeptly navigate risks and hidden information, basing decisions on factors such as expected value and probability distributions.

This time, eligibility is extended to all university students in Hong Kong and Macao, regardless of major or study. If you possess logical thinking, strong mathematical skills, stress resilience, and good money management skills, we invite you to join us.
