China Mainland, Hong Kong and Macao Digital Economy Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition 2024

The China Mainland, Hong Kong and Macao Digital Economy Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition 2024, organized by China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC) (Simplified Chinese Version only) and HKU SAAS Data Science Lab, is inviting applications now.

The competition aims to promote informatization and advance the modernization of economic and trade practices, and serve as a platform for students to demonstrate their talents and engage in exchange activities. Participants can choose to submit their entries and present in either Chinese (Mandarin) or English.

Applications

Interested students should form a team of 3 to 5 members and invite 1 to 2 faculty advisor(s) for the team. The team leader should complete the online application form in Chinese by Friday, December 1, 2023.

We are excited to announce the upcoming China Mainland, Hong Kong, and Macao Digital Economy Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition 2024. With the revolution of the digital economy has become a dominant economic form, surpassing the agricultural and industrial economies. It relies on invaluable data resources, advanced information networks, and the integrated application of information and communication technology to drive comprehensive digital transformation. This transformation aims to create a more equitable and efficient economic landscape.

In order to accelerate the process of informatization and modernize economic and trade practices, it is crucial to foster the development of applied, innovative, and multidisciplinary talents who possess strong capabilities in utilizing digital technology. International Association of Business Management Simulation is a service provider of immersive business management simulation.  Our primary goal is to foster the progress of academic learning by inspiring students' self-driven curiosity, encouraging critical thinking, and enthuse their entrepreneurial spirit. In 2014, we organize a platform for entrepreneurial youth from mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macao to showcase their skills and engage in valuable exchange activities, the China Mainland, Hong Kong, and Macao Digital Economy Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition 2024 has been scheduled for January 20, 2024 (Saturday).

This exciting event will take place at the Rayson Huang Theater of The University of Hong Kong, serving as a hub for aspiring students and young entrepreneurs. We encourage university students to join us in this competition, where they can unleash their creativity, demonstrate their expertise in digital technology, and make a significant impact on the future of the digital economy. It is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience, network with industry professionals, and contribute to the advancement of the digital landscape. Here are the Details of the Competition:

• Competition Venue: Rayson Huang Theater of The University of Hong Kong.
• Time: 8:30am - 6:00pm
• Number of Team Members in a Group: 3 to 5
• Prize for the Competition: Champion (HKD 3,000), First Runner Up (HKD 2,000), Second Runner Up (HKD 1,000)
• All universities in the Hong Kong and Macao regions are eligible to participate in the competition free of charge.
• Each university can recommend up to 2 teams to participate in the competition.
