China Council for the Promotion of the International Trade(CCPIT) Commercial Sub-council is inviting applications for its China Mainland, Hong Kong and Macao Digital Economy Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition 2019 now.

 

The aim of this competition is to build a platform for students to improve their innovation ability and entrepreneurship spirit in the digital economy, as well as to promote the communication and education's development in relevant disciplines.

Competition Details

Date: October 19, 2019 (Saturday)

Venue: Macau (TBC)

Target Participants: Students from universities and colleges in China, Hong Kong and Macau

Team Requirement: 2 - 6 participants (with 1 - 2 tutors)

Competition Format: Submission of Business Plan plus Oral Presentation (15 minutes)

Language: English or Mandarin

Application Method

Interested students please complete the following two steps:

  1. Form into teams of 2 – 6 participants and submit your team registration HERE by 9:00am, Sep 10, 2019 (Tuesday). Details required include each member’s full name (both English and Chinese), UID, curriculum, year of study (in 2019-20), email address and contact number.
  2. Email your Business Plan (in PDF format) and Powerpoint file (for presentation) to ccpitzmn@163.com by 11:59pm, Oct 1, 2019 (Tuesday).

Disclaimer:

  1. Please note that student participants of this competition will be responsible for their own safety while outside Hong Kong (for teams who travel to Macau for the presentation). Students must pay for all expenses related to the trip and arrange for their own insurance which covers the whole period of stay in Macau. Our Faculty will not be responsible for any expenses incurred in this competition.
  2. The data collected through the online application will be submitted to the organizer for registration. The data will be administered by the organizer. The Faculty shall not be held liable in the case that disputes, loss or any other situations arise.
