2025 Hong Kong Web3 Ideathon: Innovations Empowering the City

The 2025 Hong Kong Web3 Ideathon: Innovations Empowering the City is now open for applications.
The competition invites students to explore and pitch innovative Web3 ideas and applications in the world of blockchain and decentralised technologies. It consists of three tracks: Financial Inclusion and Empowerment, Community and Social Impact, and Sustainable Development.
Interested students should form a team of 2 to 4 members, and the team leader should register via https://web3ideathon.hkust.edu.hk/ and submit the proposal by January 10, 2025.

Welcome to the 2025 Hong Kong Web3 Ideathon: Innovations Empowering the City. Co-organised by the Investor and Financial Education Council (IFEC), the Center for Business and Social Analytics at HKUST, and Cyberport, this is your platform to pitch Web3 ideas across three exciting tracks: Financial Inclusion and Empowerment, Community and Social Impact, and Sustainable Development.
As university students in this vibrant city, you have the chance to spearhead innovation that resonates both locally and globally. Team up with fellow innovators, challenge conventional thinking, and bring your creative ideas to life!
