The 12th Hong Kong University Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition
To All UG Students,
The 12th Hong Kong University Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition is calling for applications.
The Competition is organised by Hong Kong New Generation Cultural Association. The competition consists of two categories: (1) Innovation (Research Thesis/ Invention) and (2) Entrepreneurship.
Since 2025, award-winning projects have had the opportunity to represent Hong Kong in three international exhibitions and competitions: WorldlnventTM Singapore (WoSG), Indonesia Inventors Day (IID) and Seoul International Invention Fair (SIIF).
Interested students could apply individually or as a team with no restrictions on the number of members*. Please select categories between Innovation and Entrepreneurship and submit the online application at https://www.hkchallengeplus.com/en/application-info/first-step-apply/by March 30, 2026.
* Members could be from different institutions, but the institution of the team leader will represent the whole team when taking part in the Regional/National Competitions.

Disclaimer:
1. Please note that student participants of this Competition will be responsible for their own safety while outside Hong Kong (for winners who will participate in the China International College Students' Innovation Competition, the “Challenge Cup” China College Students Entrepreneurship Competition, and/or “Challenge Cup” National College Students’ Extracurricular Academic Science and Technology Contest) and should arrange sufficient insurance coverage for the trip to Mainland China. Students shall bear the consequences of their decisions for the trip to Mainland China.
2. Student participants must pay all expenses related to the trip. The Faculty will not be responsible for any expenses incurred in this competition plus the trip to Mainland China (if applicable).
3. The data collected through the online application is solely administered by the organiser. The Faculty shall not be held liable in the case that disputes, loss or any other situations arise.
