Schneider Go Green Competition 2025
To All UG Students,
Schneider Electric is now inviting application for “Schneider Go Green Competition 2025”.
About the Competition
The competition aims to inspire students globally to develop innovation solutions that promote reliable energy access, enhanced wellbeing, and greater cost savings for communities. Participants will need to identify a problem or opportunity and submit a proposal on renewable energy solutions addressing environmental and social impacts.
The theme of this year competition is ‘Renewable Energy for Life & Livelihood’ with focus on two areas:
1. Solar Power Agriculture: Create solutions for solar-powered pre/post-harvesting, storage, and processing.
2. Solar Powered Microbusinesses: Innovate for retail, services, refrigeration, manufacturing, and production.
Awards and Prizes
Participants will have access to Schneider Electric University, an e-learning platform, to gain knowledge and skills needed to thrive in the rapidly evolving field of energy transition and sustainability and enhance understanding of the green economy.
Winning team will share a prize pool of €10,000 (1st place: €6,000; 2nd place: €2,500; 3rd place: €1,500). Each winning team member will receive a Solar Family Home Kit and mentoring sessions from Schneider Electric’s Access to Energy Experts.
Important Dates
Registration Opens: April 1, 2025
Deadline to Form Teams: May 31, 2025
Submit Project Proposal: June 30, 2025
Application
Interested students should submit their resumes at https://careers.se.com/event-3476/talentcommunity/form, then form a team of 2-4 members by May 31, 2025 (US Eastern Standard Time, GMT-5). Further instructions on forming team and submitting the project proposal will be provided by the organiser after submitting the resume.
