Schneider Go Green 2021 is calling for applications now.

About the Competition

Schneider Electric (SE) is a major player in Energy Management and Industrial Automation. In collaboration with AVEVA, Schneider Go Green 2021 is looking for game changers around the world who are daring to disrupt and to put their skills to the test and push the boundaries of digital transformation in Energy Management.

Target students: Undergraduate Year 2 or above, postgraduate students in Business, Engineering, Marketing or Innovation from all over the world

Formation of team: Teams of 2, with at least 1 female member (Both must study in the same country for the duration of the competition)

Competition format: Teams are required to submit a case study illustrating their ideas for innovative energy management solutions in cities for 1 of the 5 business topics as listed below:

• Access to Energy
• Homes of the Future
• Plants of the Future
• Grids of the Future
• De[coding] the Future

Timeline

Prizes and Awards

Global Winner: The winning team will be awarded a trip to one of the following cities: : Boston (USA), London (UK), New Delhi (India), Paris (France), or Shanghai (China) to visit SE’s offices, network with employees and interact with high level management. Team will also be gifted a 1 year subscription to the Coorpacademy platform.

Regional Finalist: Participants will receive mentorship from SE experts to polish their proposals and make it to the Grand Finale. All regional finalists will also gain special access to e-learning resources by Coorpacademy to better prepare teams for the regional finals.

Women in Energy: The best all-female team will advance into the Global Finals and compete for the top prize.

HK Finalist: All teams will be offered a tour to Innovation Hub at HK Office. All finalists will receive Internship opportunities, mentorship/networking opportunities with business experts.

1) Please note that student participants of this Competition will be responsible for their own safety while outside Hong Kong (provided that the team win the World Finals) and should arrange sufficient insurance coverage for the overseas trip. Students shall bear the consequences of their decisions for the overseas trip.
