Resilient HK Challenge

Deadline: 15 May 2020 (Closed)
Location: Hong Kong

Resilient HK Challenge is calling for application now.

About the Competition

Resilient HK Challenge, launched by the Agorize, is an initiative that brings together a coalition of innovators and corporates working together to help Hong Kong adapt, overcome and grow beyond its challenges as a resilient city. The Challenge is calling for innovative ideas and solutions from all backgrounds to help Hong Kong stay strong as a resilient city in times of crisis and emergency.

Students can participate as an individual or as part of a team. Teams may have a maximum of 5 members. To complete the application, you will need to submit a 10-slide deck describing the issue you are tackling (based on 3 key pillars of a resilient city including health & wellbeing, infrastructure & environment, and economy & society in Hong Kong), idea for solution, plan for implementation and its relevancy to Hong Kong.

All submissions will be reviewed by the Agorize HK team during the Online Voting in May 2020 and top 30 teams will be selected. External jury panel from the supporting organisations will then select top 10 teams to enter the Mentoring Phase and Grand Finale, which will be held online due to COVID-19 pandemic.

Top 10 teams will be announced on June 1. After the mentorship, teams are required to submit an enhanced proposal based on the feedback from the mentors. Top 10 teams will pitch their proposal to the jury panel on The Grand Finale on June 24.
