Hong Kong Techathon 2021 is calling for applications.

 

Highlights of the Competition

Jointly organised by local universities & Hong Kong Science Park, the Hong Kong Techathon 2021 is a 7-day virtual techathon from January 2 – 9, 2021 for innovators to bring in new and possible business solutions related to New Generation Technology, AI & Fintech, Smart City or Social Impact & Health Tech. Programmers, engineers, designers, marketers and entrepreneurs will work collaboratively to come up with ideas and prototypes and pitch for seed fund and incubation support. Winners will get a chance of winning up to $1.9M seed-fund.

 

Eligibility

Any students/alumni from CityU, HKBU, LingnanU, CUHK, PolyU, HKUST, HKU with technology-related business idea are welcome to participate.

How to join

1. Participant has to register an account HERE

2. Form a team of 2 to 10 members

3. Select a team leader and pick the theme from following

     i) New Generation Technology

    ii) AI & Fintech

   iii) Smart City

   iv) Social Impact & Health Tech

4. Submit the team by team leader at Information Counter by December 31, 2020
