7 February 2022 Dear Students from all disciplines,   Don't miss this wonderful journey!  Register for HKSGV 2022 Case Competition now!   You are cordially invited to join the Hong Kong Shared Good Values (HKSGV) 2022 Case Competition scheduled to take place between February and May 2022. It’s the sixth year that HKSGV is organising this programme to propagate the concept of doing good and doing well in businesses. 2022 Case Partners & Case Questions MTR Corporation's social innovation venture Carbon Wallet MTR Corporation strives to “Keep Cities Moving” by connecting and growing communities with caring, innovative and sustainable services. As a sustainable rail transport operator, “low-carbon” has been in the DNA of MTR. With sustainability lying at the heart of our new corporate strategy, MTR launched a social innovation venture Carbon Wallet in 2021 to incentivize the public to adopt a low-carbon lifestyle and act on climate change. Serving as a Hong Kong One-stop Reward App to Go Green, Carbon Wallet empowers the public to record their green actions, track their carbon emissions saved and reward their little steps in daily lives.   The Carbon Wallet team would like to invite innovative recommendations that strengthen Carbon Wallet’s position as the leading green lifestyle platform in Hong Kong, empowering the public and businesses to act on climate change towards carbon neutrality.   The Coffee Academïcs Over the decade, The Coffee Academïcs has grown and thrived with its friends & loyal customers. The company has been standing strong with its commitment to sustainability objectives and adhere to the Bean-To-Cup principle in the coffee bean sourcing procedure. The company source beans with assurance of fair prices as well as environmentally friendly practices including Rainforest Alliance and Fairtrade.   As The Coffee Academïcs approaches its 10th year anniversary along with with the recent opening of a brand new 12,000 sqft, HACCP & ISO22000 certified coffee bean roastery, the company would like to explore different approaches to reintroduce itself and also the mission behind to company to the next or rising generation. Fast-Track Internship Interview Opportunities(!!) & Prizes   Winners of the 2022 Case Competition might have opportunities for fast-track internship interview from our case partner companies in summer or fall winter, subject to COVID-19 development and subsequent social distancing restrictions. Certificates will be offered to all participating teams while each winning teams will be given cash prizes: Champion HK$10,000; First Runner-Up HK$4,000; Second Runner-Up HK$2,000. We welcome current undergraduate and postgraduate students from all universities and higher education institutes. Form a team of three to four people and apply on or before 18 February 2022 (Friday), 23:59 HKT.
