Hong Kong FinTech Week Hackathon 2019

Hong Kong FinTech Week Hackathon 2019 is calling for participation now.

DBS, Hong Kong Export Credit Insurance Corporation and WHub Limited are jointly organizing the Hong Kong FinTech Week Hackathon 2019 from November 1 – 3, 2019 at Kafnu Hong Kong, Kerry Hotel. As a satellite event of the Hong Kong FinTech Week 2019, it is a 36-hour FinTech hackathon of product development where diverse ideas will collide and the best one will emerge as a new product or service. Participants from various majors, such as coding, designing and marketing shall work together in teams under the time pressure to create and present the next best FinTech product to leading tech experts.

The Hackathon is opened to university students, game changers, entrepreneurs, developers and basement hackers. 3 workshops on “InsurTech & FinTech”, “Blockchain, AI & machine Learning” and “Team building” are available for participating teams to better prepare for the Hackathon. Winning teams will win up to HK$25,000 cash prizes and gain wide networking opportunities.
