To all UG Students,

 

HKSI Institute Case Competition 2026 is now calling for applications.

 

The Competition aims to provide opportunity for students to tackle business challenges and receive coaching from industry professionals in Fintech projects. Interested students could click here to apply as a team of 3-4 members or apply individually and be assigned into teams by the organiser. Applications will be accepted until October 14, 2025 (Tuesday)

 

Please note that all participants are required to register as Student Members of HKSI Institute before the abovementioned deadline in order to take part in the competition. A special rate of HK$100 per membership application will be charged by the HKSI Institute (responsible by students).

Case Competition Now Open for Student Applications

Dear Student

 

You are invited to participate in the HKSI Institute Case Competition 2026, where you can connect with financial industry experts through an action-learning Fintech-themed project. This competition provides an excellent opportunity to gain real-world experience, and you may even win a prestigious placement offer along with a cash prize. If you are interested in participating, please refer to the details below.

 

Who is Eligible?

HKSI Institute Student Members who are full-time undergraduates in any discipline from eligible Higher Education Institutions.

 

Programme Structure - 3 Rounds of Competition

  1. Coaching Period (1.5 months, from 17 November 2025 – 13 January 2026): All participants to complete a Fintech project with the Project Sponsor 
  2. Semi-final Round (1 month, from 23 January – 24 February 2026): Semi-finalists to prepare a Fintech case study
  3. Final Round (25 March 2026, TBC):Finalists to attend an in-person Panel Interview

    Action to Prepare for Case Competition Application

Step 1: Identify 2-3 friendswho are full-time undergraduates from eligible Higher Education Institutions to form a team with you. Or you could apply individually, we will help you find a team.

Step 2: All student participants are required to be HKSI Institute Student Members. If you are not already a member, a special rate of HKD100 (original fee: HKD300) will be offered for you to join our Student Membership. Apply now and select 'Case Competition' under 'Source of Information' in the membership application form to take advantage of this special offer. Please view the application guidelines (Video / Deck) before beginning your membership application to ensure that you submit valid documents.
