HKSI Institute Case Competition 2025

To all UG Students,

HKSI Institute Case Competition 2025 is now calling for applications.

The Competition aims to provide a unique opportunity for students to develop their careers in the financial industry. Interested students could click here to apply individually and be assigned into teams by the organiser or apply as a team of 3-4 members by October 20, 2024. Please note that all participants are required to register as student members of HKSI Institute by the abovementioned deadline in order to take part in the competition.

Student Application Invitation

Application Period: from now until 20 October 2024

Dear Student
 

Are you eager to boost your CV profile and connect with industry experts in the financial sector?

Participate in the “HKSI Institute Case Competition 2025”, where you will engage with industry experts (Project Sponsors) on a research project centered around the theme of “Sustainability”!

Quota: 115 Teams from eligible local and GBA Higher Education Institutions

(Due to the limited quota for students, it will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis according to the completeness of both the Case Competition Application Form and the Student Membership Application. Priority will be given to active Student Members of the HKSI Institute, and we highly recommend that you form your team with our existing Student Members.)
 

Who is Eligible?

HKSI Institute Student Members who are full-time undergraduates of any disciplines from the eligible Higher Education Institutions.
 

For non-HKSI Institute Student Members, please apply for Student Membership via HEREfrom now until 20 October 2024.
 

The student membership is FREE for first-time student participants in the Case Competition for one year, subject to approval by the HKSI Institute. Please select “Case Competition” under “Source of information” to enjoy this special offer. Please read the guideline for the Student Membership Application HERE before you begin.
 

During the student membership application process, please be reminded to upload the supporting documents displayed your full name AND demonstrated "full-time undergraduates" status as well as your expected graduation year and month, including but not limited to:

    • Admission letter OR

    • Endorsement letter from university OR

    • Student card OR

    • Screen capture of your school portal OR

    • Latest transcript within 1 month OR

    • Latest tuition receipt
 

3 Rounds of Competition

Coaching Period (1.5 months from 18 November 2024 – 17 January 2025): All participants to complete one Sustainability Research Project with the Project Sponsor

Semi-final Round (1 month from 24 January – 24 February 2025): Semi-finalists to prepare one Sustainability Case Study

Final Round (3 April 2025 - TBC): Finalists to attend an in-person Panel Interview
