HKICS Corporate Governance Paper Competition and Presentation Awards 2021

The Hong Kong Institute of Chartered Secretaries (HKICS) is now inviting applications for its “Corporate Governance Paper Competition and Presentation Awards 2021”.   The Annual Corporate Governance Paper Competition and Presentation Awards aims at promoting the importance of good governance among local undergraduates and providing them with an opportunity to research, write and present their findings and opinions on the selected theme.


The theme for this year is “Is it possible to tie governance with a sense of purpose given the myriad of stakeholders’ interests?”.  Team comprising 2 – 4 members should submit a paper on the theme with no more than 5,000 words in English. 6 finalist teams will present their papers to compete for the Best Presenter Award on October 9, 2021.  Teams will have to chance to win up to HK$11,000 cash prize for the Championship.  You may refer to the poster below and the document for details regarding the competition, such as background, awards and rules & regulations, etc.  Interested students should complete the enrolment form via here and submit to HKICS by June 25, 2021.


Besides, HKICS is offering a free webinar “Student Ambassador Programme (SAP): Purposeful governance – a stakeholder responsive approach (Webinar)” on 9 June 2021 for undergraduates who are interested in participating in the Corporate Governance Paper Competition and Presentation Awards 2021 to know more about the theme of the Competition.  You may also refer to the document for further details about this free webinar and for those students who are interested, please complete the registration via here and submit to HKICS by June 4, 2021
