HK-France Prize for Social Innovation
FBE UG students are cordially invited to take part in the HK-France Prize for Social Innovation as launched by the Consulate General of France in Hong Kong and Macau and the Baptist Oi Kwan Social Service.
This challenge is meant to foster student’s creativity to tackle social issues through viable business models, digital solutions or community-building initiatives in the areas of environmental issues and social inclusion. The most remarkable teams will be rewarded a cash prize of up to HKD 20,000, certificate of participation and mentorship of outstanding French social entrepreneurs.
This challenge is no doubt a special opportunity for youth to express their ideas and get involved in the life of their community. Interested students please form into teams of a maximum of 3 members and submit an executive summary and a PowerPoint in English (4 pages / 15 slides maximum) describing their social innovation project byApril 1, 2020 (Today). Please note the following important dates:
- The deadline for submitting the proposal is April 1, 2020 (today at 23:59).
- The finalist teams will be announced on May 4.
- A final presentation in front of a jury will take place in June. Its format (face-to-face or online) will be defined in accordance with local rules that will be implemented at that time. Further details will be provided in due time.
