The ETF Portfolio Challenge is now open for applications.
 

About the Challenge

This Challenge is an individual-based, simulated investment challenge that aims to provide a fun and educational platform to foster the understanding of investment and exchange-traded products (ETPs). In the past eight years, the Challenge has drawn 7,500 students from over 600 universities around the world. Students will construct a portfolio utilising between four and ten ETPs using a virtual endorsement of $100,000.

 

The top 25 students with the highest performing portfolios will win complimentary passes to attend the ETP Forum in New York City by The Expert Series and network with 400+ Financial Professionals in the event.
 

Application

Interested students should register at http://etfportfoliochallenge.com/ by clicking the orange "Register Now" button, or by following the instructions at http://etfportfoliochallenge.com/tutorialby September 13, 2024 (Friday) (EST*). As the performance period begins on September 16, 2024, you are welcome to enrol prior to the registration deadline to kick start the Challenge.

1. Please note that student participants of this competition will be responsible for their own safety while traveling outside of Hong Kong (provided that top students in the Challenge will win complimentary passes to attend the ETP Forum in New York City) and should arrange sufficient insurance coverage for the overseas trip. Students shall bear the consequences of their decisions for the trip.
2. Students are responsible for all trip-related expenses. The School will not be liable for any expenses and costs incurred in this Challenge plus the overseas trip(s).
