CoreNet Global Academic Challenge 12

To: All UG Students

CoreNet Global, the world’s leading association for corporate real estate, is inviting applications for the “CoreNet Global Academic Challenge 12”. This Challenge aims to raise awareness of corporate real estate as a viable career opportunity amongst college students of all academic disciplines, to connect local chapters and members of the association with future talent, and encourage more universities to include corporate real estate in their curricula. Student teams from universities and academic institutions around the world are invited to compete in an academic challenge wherein students are asked to play the role of an internal corporate real estate team in order to address a real-world issue facing companies around the globe: develop strategies for the corporate real estate portfolio that prepare the company for a fluid workforce where virtual and augmented reality are practically applied to deal with the expected blend of remote and office workers. The winning team will be awardedUS$5,000.  

Interested students should form a team of 2-4 members, which the team leader should invite a faculty advisor for the team and submit the School’s online application form at https://hku.au1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_0NefhibmcIQfS0m.

All participants are required to create an account and then go to “enter here” for registration by Thursday, September 15, 2022. 1. Please note that student participants in this Competition will be responsible for their own safety while outside Hong Kong. Students must pay for all expenses related to the trip and arrange for their own insurance which covers the whole period of their stays. The School will not be responsible for any expenses incurred in this competition.
