China Finance Career Accelerator 2026

To All UG Students,

CFA Institute and the Beijing Financial Development Centre are calling applications for their China Finance Career Accelerator 2026.

The competition aims to cultivate future finance leaders with innovative capabilities, practical skills, and keen insight, continuously infusing youthful vitality into the finance industry of Beijing, the nation, and beyond.

Interested students should form a team of 3-5 members, and team leader should complete the registration and submit the report by March 25, 2026.

[Message from CFA Society Hong Kong]

CFA Institute and the Beijing Financial Development Centre (北京市金融發展促進中心) are jointly organizing the China Finance Career Accelerator 2026 (中國未來金融分析師大賽). Registration is now open and will remain available until 25 March 2026.

Why Join?

1. Internship Opportunities: Supported by numerous financial institutions and enterprises, the program offers internship positions across banking, insurance, securities, wealth management, rating agencies, and the real economy.
2. Diverse Learning Experience: To help participants make the most of the experience, we’ve organized a series of online info sessions and public lectures that equip students with know-how on report writing, practical application of the CFA Program, as well as guidance on internship and job search. 
3. Chance to win CFA® Exam Scholarship: Finalist team members will have the opportunity to receive a CFA Exam Scholarship, supporting further professional advancement and skill development.  

Key Date

• Registration & report submission deadline: March 25
• Group video submission deadline: April 3
• Announcement of finalists: April 16
• Finals Day (in-person event in Beijing, China*): May 9

* Round-trip travel and accommodation expenses for attending the finals in person will be reimbursed according to relevant standards

Eligibility and Requirements

1. Full-time undergraduate/master’s/doctoral students currently enrolled OR recent graduates (within one year) who have not secured employment
2. Teams of 3–5; cross-country/cross-university/cross-discipline teams are allowed
3. Research report and group video in Chinese or English

Students shall bear the consequences of their decisions for the trip to Mainland China.
