Cathay Hackathon 2023 is now open for applications.
This Hackathon provides an opportunity for students from diverse backgrounds to discover the latest technologies and gain hands-on experience in the travel industry, premium lifestyle, and cargo services. Participants will also have the chance to explore career opportunities in the aviation and tech industries and connect with industry professionals. Shortlisted participants will have the opportunity to win round-trip flights, Asia Miles, and fast-track interviews for the Digital & IT Internship or Graduate Trainee Programme at Cathay.
Interested students can participate individually or form into teams of 3 to 5 members. The team leader should submit the online application HEREby Sunday, October 1, 2023.

We have some exciting news to share with you - Cathay Hackathon 2023 is now open for application! We are now inviting youngsters who are passionate about aviation and technology to help us shape the future travel lifestyle experience.

Date: 18-19 November 2023
Venue: Cathay City (Hong Kong International Airport, 8 Scenic Rd, Chek Lap Kok)
Application deadline: 1 October 2023
Target audience: university students
All students are welcome to participate in our Hackathon, regardless of their level of experience. This year, we have specially designed a number of “power sessions”, seminars, and various engaging activities, allowing participants to explore the behind-the-scenes operations, understand more about Cathay and technology trends and interact with industry professionals. Participants will be challenged to develop new ideas to address some current pain points related to travel lifestyle and present their cutting-edge technological solutions to a panel of industry experts. Winning teams will be offered a fast track in the selection process for the Digital & IT Internship or Graduate Trainee Programme at Cathay, providing them with a valuable opportunity to gain experience and launch a career in the field!
