BOCHK Challenge 2025

Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited (BOCHK) is inviting applications for “BOCHK Challenge 2025”.
The competition aims to foster student innovation and creativity by providing a platform for students to generate innovative ideas for the Fintech industry. Winning teams will receive cash prizes, as well as internship and collaboration opportunities with BOCHK.
Interested students should form a team of 2 to 5 members. Team leader should register at https://www.bochk.com/dam/more/bochkchallenge/2025/form_en.htmlby April 21, 2025 (Mon) and submit the business proposal by April 30, 2025 (Wed).

Invitation to the “BOCHK Challenge 2025”
Innovation Cohesion for Change Leading the Future with Technology
To sow the seeds of hope for technological innovation ventures, Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited (BOCHK) is organising a fintech innovation case competition - BOCHK Challenge 2025!This year BOCHK Challenge partnered with Tencent Cloud, Huawei, HKSTP, Cyberport, ASTRI, etc. to provide mentorship for the shortlisted teams. The winning teams will receive attractive cash prizes, as well as valuable internship and collaboration opportunities with BOCHK.
Themes: Technology Theme (Choose at least one) + Scene Theme (Choose at least one)
Technology Theme: GenAI, Digital Assets, Web 3
Scene Theme: Wealth Management, Silver Hair, Gen Z, ESG, Cross Border
Application Deadline: 21 April 2025
Proposal Deadline: 30 April 2025
Final Pitching Date: August 2025 [We will announce the exact date at a later stage]
Eligibility: Divided into student and startup streams, each entry must be in teams of 2-5 people
- Student Stream: Current full-time university students enrolled in Hong Kong
- Startup Stream: Working professionals from startups that have been registered in Hong Kong for no more than 10 years
Winning teams will be rewarded with prizes valued up to HKD 620,000 as well as internship and collaboration opportunities with Bank of China (Hong Kong).
