To All UG Students,

 

The Bloomberg Global Trading Challenge 2025 is now open for applications.

 

About the Challenge
This Challenge is the only university investment competition to take place entirely within the Bloomberg Terminal. Each participating teams will have a $1 million virtual USD to invest across securities in 5 weeks’ time. Teams will use the Terminal to define market assumptions, develop a return-generating strategy, and execute trades over a closed network.

 

The winning team will receive a victory basket including an iPad Pro for each team member and opportunity to network with the Bloomberg recruiting.

 11pm, October 5, 2025

 Challenge Starts

 9am, October 13, 2025

 Starting Positions

 5pm, October 17, 2025

 Challenge Ends

 5pm, November 15, 2025

 Winners announced

 November 21, 2025

All times are in New York Time (EDT).

 

Application
Interested students should form a team of 3 to 5 members and invite a faculty advisor for the team. The team leader should complete and submit the following online application forms by 11pm on October 5, 2025 (New York Time EDT).

    (Team Leader’s Bloomberg Terminal login required)

Due to limited quota, teams who have successfully registered for the Challenge will receive confirmation email from the organiser directly.
