Animal- Welfare Policy Video Competition 2021/22 by SPCA

You are cordially invited to participate in the Animal- Welfare Policy Video Competition 2021/22 hosted by SPCA.
To celebrate the 100th anniversary of SPCA for this year and World Animal Day (4 Oct), SPCA will be launching the Animal Welfare Policy Video Competition for all secondary and tertiary students in Hong Kong. This competition is designed and is supported by the Education Bureau (EDB) and Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD). It is an 8-month programme that runs from October until June 2022.
SPCA would like to raise the awareness of students and the general public on current animal welfare issues and animal-related government policy through creative student involvement. Contestants are invited to contribute creative ideas to Hong Kong's move towards an animal-friendly city by offering feasible and practical animal welfare policy suggestions to the public in 3-minute videos on a given pet or wildlife topic.
Workshops
Workshops will be provided to give participants a deeper understanding of the animal-related issues behind the chosen topic, as well as video shooting skills:

*All video entries will be posted on our official webpage to enable voting by the general public. The cut-off date for votes will be 30 days after posting. The group with the highest total number of votes will receive the Most-popular Award.
- All award-winning videos will be shown in the SPCA Centennial Centre
- All winning teams will receive a free one-year subscription to the SPCA magazine Pawprint
- All participants will receive an e-certificate of participation
