IBGM Leadership Boot Camp
The Faculty organises the Leadership Boot Camp exclusively for all BBA(IBGM) first-year students every year. It aims to polish students’ leadership skills and enhance the bonding of IBGM freshmen through a series of workshops and activities to be held at a local campsite.
All students receive full sponsorship and subsidy* for the Leadership Boot Camp.
In October 2022, due to the pandemic, the Leadership Boot Camp was conducted at the HKU campus. The first-year IBGMers gained new insights on what it means to be a leader in different aspects of business in this 3-day Leadership Boot Camp. They applied their learnings through role-playing activities, discussions, and reflective activities. Other highlights of the Boot Camp included the Business Leader Fireside Chat, in which students learned about the real-life experiences of elites in the industry.

The Leadership Boot Camp provided a platform to bond with the IBGM cohort and gave me the opportunity to learn from so many great leaders. The insights from the Boot Camp will continue to inspire and propel me in the future.
I acquired useful techniques in public speaking and workplace communication, which boost my confidence in leading a team.
