The HKUBS Mentorship Programme offers students a valuable platform to elevate their transferable skills and expand their professional knowledge through personalized guidance from experienced mentors. This one-on-one interaction allows mentors and mentees to schedule activities and meetings at their convenience.

 

By participating in the HKUBS Mentorship Programme, mentees have the opportunity to expand their business and personal networks, gain insights into potential employers' expectations, cultivate essential skills that employers seek, and benefit from the wisdom and accomplishments of seasoned professionals. This programme serves as a catalyst for personal and professional growth, empowering mentees to thrive in their chosen fields.
 

Programme Duration:

November 2024 - August 2025

(Tentative schedule and subject to the final programme arrangement by the Faculty)

 

Eligibility:

All non-first-year HKU Business School current students in Academic Year 2024-25

*Note: The HKUBS Mentorship Programme will be inaugurated on November 5. As a commitment to the programme, students must be physically present in Hong Kong until the end of the first semester 2024-25.

Late and incomplete applications will NOT be accepted.

[Note: For mentees in 2023-24, you must apply again if you are interested in joining the 2024-25 Programme.]

 

Selection:

All interested students are required to complete the follows:

 

  • Complete and submit the application form by the indicated deadline. 
  • You will be asked to upload the following documents through the application form:
    • Business Portrait Photo (will be used in the Programme brochure if you are selected)
    • Most updated CV (will be shared with your mentor if you are selected)
    • A 3-minute video in English for the following information and questions:
      • Self-introduction
      • Why are you interested in the HKUBS Mentorship Programme?
      • What do you intend to accomplish through the HKUBS Mentorship Programme?
      • What you can offer to your mentor as a representative of HKUBS student to let him/her know more about the School? 

Selection will be made based on the information you submitted through the application form, CV, and the video. Applicants who failed to upload the required documents through the application form will not be considered.
