BUSI1806 Israeli Entrepreneurial Experience
Innovation has become one of the most important skills necessary to adapt to, and survive, in the changing business environment. Israel values innovation and is a world leader in the number of startups per capita, and the home of dozens of multinational organizations' Research and Development centers. Therefore, it is the perfect lens through which to study about building innovation.
This programme will provide a glimpse into the Israeli startup ecosystem and will provide a sense of how to grow such a culture. By understanding the essence of innovation and entrepreneurship, students will be able to enhance their current business value proposition and create new business models to address escalating human needs.

Programme Fee
HK$15,000 *
(* HKU Business School will provide subsidy of HK$12,000 to each selected student on the condition that they can obtain a passing grade in the experiential learning trip. The subsidy will be reimbursed after the assessment result is finalised)
Items to be covered by the Programme include:
● Tuition fee
● Accommodation
● Most of the meals in Israel
● Ground transportation for visits and activities as arranged in the Programme
● Cultural Tours
Items to be self-arranged by students:
● Round-trip flight tickets between Hong Kong and Tel Aviv, Israel
● Optional Travel insurance (All HKU students will be covered by basic overseas travel insurance as arranged by the University. Nonetheless, participants are strongly recommended to make additional travel insurance arrangement according to individual needs.)
● Visa application fee (if you need a visa to travel to Israel)
● Entertainment expenses

All UG students from HKU Business School for the academic year 2023-24
