We, The HKU Investment Banking Club (IBC) and HKU Trading Group, understand very well your concerns and are pleased to invite all HKU Business School students to their IBC x HKU Trading Group Investment Bank Fireside Chat. The event will feature a fireside chat and networking session with incoming summer and full-time analysts from renowned investment banks in the Investment Banking Division (IBD), Sales and Trading (S&T), and Private Banking (PB). It presents a unique opportunity for students to gain insights into the investment banking industry and to network with professionals and peers alike.

Application Procedure
For interested students, please sign up by 10th April, 2024. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. There are limited spots for the event, so please sign up at your earliest convenience. You will be required to submit your CV.

The HKU Investment Banking Club (IBC) is a premier platform dedicated to assisting students who aspire to excel in the field of investment banking. Spearheaded by a team of student and graduate mentors with substantial industry experience, our mission is to equip our mentees with the necessary skills and knowledge to secure their desired positions within the industry. To date, our efforts have successfully facilitated member placements within top-tier bulge bracket banks in Hong Kong, including but not limited to Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, J.P. Morgan, UBS, and Bank of America.

Who We Are
HKU Trading Group is a premier finance club founded in 2020. Our goals are to provoke interest in Investment Banking and Markets and to enhance the investment acumen of our members who hope to pursue a career in the industries. In addition to providing competitions and training sessions, we publish regular fundamental and quantitative research reports, simulate 3 portfolios of various investment strategies, and provide exclusive networking opportunities and events with top financial institutions. We hope to expand our community and knowledge base by welcoming like-minded students in the future.
