Hong Kong Federation of Business Students (HKFBS) is calling applications for its ESG Challenge 2023.

You may refer to the below message from HKFBS for details regarding the Challenge. Interested students should form into teams of 3 - 5 members and apply online by February 9, 2023.

ESG Challenge 2023 is a function which aims at unleashing university students’ potential by raising their awareness towards Environmental, Social, and Governance.

ESG Challenge 2023 consists of 4 stages: the Opening Ceremony, Experiential Learning Workshop, Semi-Final and Grand Final. This year’s theme is Road to Sustainability. The Food and Beverage industry is one of the most transversally demanding sectors of resources across sectors. It has an extensive, complex web of supply chains entangled in ESG-related risks and controversies, increasingly making it a constant topic of current and emerging regulations. Moreover, it is positioned at the core of addressing these externalities such as climate change and resource depletion.

Format and Rules

- Be a full-time undergraduate (not exclusive to business students)

- Form a team with 3-5 members from any local university (with at least one team member as a full-time business undergraduate)

- Be associated with only one team

- Each team is required to have at least 1 but at most 3 representatives attending the Opening Ceremony

- ALL team members must attend the Experiential Learning Workshop

Rewards

- Receive internship opportunities from PwC

- Receive cash prizes amounting to HK$20,000

- Gain exposure to one of the largest accounting firms in the world
