Who we are
The Eureka Consulting Group (ECG) is a student-led social enterprise providing pro-bono consulting services founded at the University of Hong Kong in 2014.
Our mission
To help social enterprises, non-profit organisations, and SMEs refocus, restructure, and reinvigorate. To support our consultants in receiving hands-on experience, taking on real responsibilities, and learning new skills.
Our vision
We aim to be an impactful student-led consulting society, educating students about the consulting profession while training their business acumen. We also aim to build a network of consultants, alumni, and professionals, providing a community for students to kick-start careers.
What we do
We solve real-life business problems! We have worked with non-profits, social enterprises, start-ups, and even corporates to aim with their most pressing challenges.

Past projects have involved complex issues that include raising capital, marketing, branding strategy, product and service design, performance improvement, legal research, and information technology.

We have worked across a variety of industries, including engineering, robotics, food and beverage, software, luxury, fintech, finance, and socioeconomic development.

Who we are looking for
We look for candidates with excellent problem-solving skills, interpersonal skills, the ability to structure and articulate their thoughts clearly, and willingness to learn and collaborate.
NO prior experience is necessary, and we recruit from a variety of cultural and academic backgrounds.
Qualities we look for:
- Ability to solve ambiguous and complex problems with structured thinking
- Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication, language proficiencies besides English are valued
- Leadership skills: ability to organize, motivate and guide others
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Willingness to learn (or familiarity with) consulting, business, finance, accounting, legal, and management concepts
- Ability to work and effectively collaborate in a virtual work environment
- The drive to perform to the best of your ability
Application Process
1. Submit the application form by 23:59 on February 7, 2023.
2. After a review of applications, selected candidates will be called for a face-to-face group interview. Appropriate arrangements may be made for candidates not available for face-to-face interviews.
Interviews expected to be held on Feb 11 and Feb 12, 2023 (Subject to change)
3. Candidates may also be invited to a personal interview.
