The Eureka Consulting Group Limited (ECG LinkedIn) is opening applications to all undergraduate and postgraduate students. Interested students should submit their application by23:59 on September 6, 2022.
Who we are
The Eureka Consulting Group (ECG) is a student-led social enterprise providing pro-bono consulting services founded at the University of Hong Kong in 2014.
Our mission
We provide pro-bono consulting services to help social enterprises, non-profit organisations, as well as SMEs refocus, restructure, and reinvigorate. We support our consultants to receive hands-on experience and take on real responsibilities.
Our vision
We aim to be an impactful student-led consulting organization, educating students about the consulting industry while training their business acumen. As an ECG consultant, you will kickstart your career by building your network and learning soft and hard business skills.
What we do
We solve real-life business problems! We work with non-profits, social enterprises, start-ups, and SMEs to research into and solve their most pressing challenges.

Who we are looking for
We are looking for candidates with excellent problem-solving skills, interpersonal skills, the ability to structure and articulate their thoughts clearly, and a willingness to learn and collaborate.
NO prior experience is necessary, and we recruit students from a variety of cultural and academic backgrounds.
Qualities we look for:
- Ability to use structured thinking to solve ambiguous and complex problems
- A diverse background and an innovative thought process
- Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication: Language proficiencies besides English are valued
- Leadership skills: ability to organize, motivate and guide others
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Willingness to learn (or familiarity with) consulting, business, finance, accounting, legal, and management concepts
- Ability to work and effectively collaborate in a virtual work environment
- The drive to perform to the best of your ability
Application Procedures
- Interested students must submit the following application form HEREby23:59 on September 6, 2022.
- After a review of applications, selected candidates will be called for a face-to-face group interview. Appropriate arrangements will be made for candidates who are yet to arrive in Hong Kong.
- Candidates may be invited to a personal interview.
