[Message from HKU Trading Group]

 

Dear Students, 

 

HKU Trading Group aims to inspire and motivate our members about a career in trading and financial markets, spread interest in trading and investment banking in the HKU community, and enhance the chances for our members to pursue a career in trading and financial markets.

  

After arranging a wide range of traditional activities such as recruitment talks, stock pitches, and trading competitions in the last year, we have collected feedback from our students and exchanged ideas with our industry partners and overseas universities. We would like to organize a more innovative and exciting event, the Poker Tournament, which provides an opportunity for you to:

 

  • make optimal decisions based on incomplete information
  • apply your money management strategy skills
  • showcase your mental maths skills and acumen on probability
  • mimic the market sentiment and deal with pressure
