Are you interested in social innovation? Are you looking for a platform to meet other like-minded individuals who are keen on bringing impact to our society? Do you want to build your CV? If yes, Enactus HKU is the best place for you!
(I) Introduction of Enactus
Founded in 1975, Enactus is one of the largest international non-profit organisations that engages the next generation of entrepreneurial leaders to use innovation and business principles to improve the world. Enactus has set up university chapters in 37 countries and more than 1,700 universities globally, and Enactus HKU is one of the university chapters set up under Enactus HK. It is the direct gateway at HKU for you to connect to the global Enactus network.
(II) Duties of Executive Committee Members
Upon joining the HKU Chapter as an exco-member, you will have the following opportunities:
Organize Activities for Enactus HKU members
With the purpose of facilitating social innovation in HKU, excos will be responsible for organizing different events to support the members in implementing their own social enterprise ideas. These activities include Orientation, Workshops and Training.
Maintaining Public Relations and Convening Regular Meetings
Excos will be networking and maintaining public relations with various external parties, including other Enactus University Chapters, Enactus Regional Team, professional organizations, corporates, NGOs, etc. Excos will also be arranging regular meetings to tackle the general affairs of the Chapter.
- Promoting social innovation and Enactus HKU
Lastly, excos will also be organizing events to promote the concept of social innovation and Enactus HKU in general.
Ultimately, you and other excos will be able to support the growth of potential social enterprises with the resources from Enactus and any other external parties you wish to reach out to!
