[Message from Enactus HKU]
Dear Students,
Are you interested in social innovation? Do you want to implement your business ideas and start up your own social enterprises? Are you looking for support in initiating your own social enterprise? If yes, Enactus HKU is the best place for you!
(I) Introduction of Enactus
Founded in 1975, Enactus is one of the largest international non-profit organisations that engages the next generation of entrepreneurial leaders to use innovation and business principles to improve the world. Enactus has set up university chapters in 37 countries and more than 1,700 universities globally, and Enactus HKU is one of the university chapters set up under Enactus HK. It is the direct gateway at HKU for you to connect to the global enactus network.
(II) Potential Events of the Year and Perks of joining Enactus HKU
Upon joining the HKU Chapter as a member, you will have the opportunities to take part in the following activities:
1. Orientation
The orientation serves as a platform for newly recruited members to interact with other members. Participants are highly encouraged to brainstorm new project ideas and establish new projects here.
2. Enactus Social Innovation Fair
The Fair will be an interactive and open platform in which different social enterprises will be invited to set up booths. It will be a perfect opportunity for members to communicate with social enterprises and social innovation expertise.
3. Series of Workshops and Training
Events including prototyping workshops, autumn and spring trainings, as well as firm visits will be organized to help our members develop the necessary skill sets and help teams to improve their ideas continuously.
4. Regional Competition
Members who are interested in setting up a social enterprise can form project teams and participate in our regional competitions to present your idea. There might even be potential overseas exposure for winners and excellent performers!
Ultimately, you and your team will be able to start your own social enterprise with support from Enactus and execute your business idea in the real world!

All undergraduates and postgraduates are welcome to join
Membership fee: $80 per school year
