Schneider Electric (http://www.schneider-electric.com/) will be organizing the Global Student Competition - Go Green in the City 2018 for FBE UG Year 2 or above non-final year students.

About Global Student Competition - Go Green in the City 2018
Go Green in the City 2018 is the 8th edition of the ultimate global student competition.
Target students: UG Year 2 or above non-final year students
Formation of team: Teams of 2, with at least 1 female member (Both must study in the same country for the duration of the competition)
Competition format: Teams are required to submit a case study illustrating their ideas for innovative energy management solutions in cities for 1 of the 5 basic Schneider business topics as listed below:
- Sustainability and Inclusivity
- The Digital Economy
- Smart Supply Chain
- Cyber Security
- No boundaries (any topic)
Prizes and Awards:
- Grand Prize: The winning team will win job offers from Schneider Electric and a trip to 2 of its international offices
- Finals: The top 10 teams will be invited on a fully sponsored trip to the United States to make their pitch in the Finals
- Semi-finals: Semi-finalists will receive mentorship from Schneider Electric experts to polish their proposals

Remarks:
- The information collected through the application process is solely administered by the organizer. The Faculty shall not be held liable in the case that disputes, loss or any other situations arise.
- In case if any teams enter the grand finale and travel to the United States, team membersneed to be responsible for their own safety while outside Hong Kong. Theyneed to bear all expenses related to the trip, arrange and pay for their own flight tickets between Hong Kong and the United States as well as insurance which covers the whole period of stay in the United States. Our Faculty will not be responsible for any expenses incurred in this competition.
