Personal Finance Ambassador Programme 2019/20

Personal Finance Ambassador Porgramme 2019/20, co-organized by HKEX Foundation Limited, Investor and Financial Education Council, and St. James’ Settlement, is inviting applications now.

Electronic payments have evolved at a rapid pace. Students are required to develop their financial education projects under the theme “e-Payment” to strengthen students’ knowledge of electronic payment and personal finance.

Participating students, working in teams of 4 – 6, will be shortlisted and trained as Personal Finance Ambassadors in a Day Camp. After the camp, teams are required to revise and deliver their team projects, with maximum $4,500 financial support, to promote financial education messages on campus to HKU students. 6 finalists will be selected from the team project competition and invited to give a presentation at the Presentation and Award Ceremony on January 18, 2019. Apart from receiving an Ambassador certificate at the Ceremony, teams will have the chance to win the Excellent Financial Education Project with $20,000 cash prizes.
