The International Association of Business Management Simulation (IABMS) is now calling application for MBS Simulated Business Management Competition 2024.

You may refer to the below message and poster from IABMS for details regarding the competition. Interested student should form a team of 3 to 4 members and the team leader should apply onlineby the extended deadline March 25, 2024 (Monday).

MBS Simulated Business Management Competition 2024

Location: Rayson Huang Theater, The University of Hong Kong

The International Association of Business Management Simulation (IABMS) is now inviting students to join the “MBS Simulated Business Management Competition 2024”.

About the Competition

This Competition aims to provide students with a valuable learning experience that combines theoretical knowledge with practical application in a business context. Through this simulation, students will have the opportunity to apply the concepts and skills you have acquired during your business management studies to the dynamic real-world environment. It will challenge you to make strategic decisions, analyze their consequences, and develop critical thinking and decision-making abilities. 

Applications

Interested students from the same university should form a team of 3 to 4 members and the team leader should submit the online application form at here or QR code by the extended deadline Mon, Mar 25, 2024. Spots are allocated on first-come first-served basis.

For details regarding the background, eligibility, format, terms and conditions of the competition, you may refer to the competition website and competition trailer. 

Students participating in this competition are invited to join the virtual entrepreneurship competition, 'We innovate together in metaverse’, organized by the Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science Data Science Lab at The University of Hong Kong and the top 3 winning teams can be shortlisted to International MBS Business Management Simulation Competition 2024 at Kasetsart University in Bangkok on September 6, 2024.

Disclaimer:

1. Please note that student participants of this Competition will be responsible for their own safety while outside Hong Kong (for winners who will participate in the International MBS Simulated Business Management Competition 2024 in Kasetsart University) and should arrange sufficient insurance coverage for the trip to Thailand. Students shall bear the consequences of their decisions for the trip to Thailand.
2. Student participants must pay all expenses related to the trip. The School will not be responsible for any expenses incurred in this completion plus the trip to Thailand (if applicable).
3. The data collected is solely administered by the organiser. The School shall not be held liable in the case that disputes, loss or any other situations arise.
