Kubuqi Award - Desertification Control Business Plan Competition
FBE UG Students are cordially invited to take part in the Kubuqi Award - Desertification Control Business Plan Competition to win the chance to visit Kubuqi Dessert, apply your business plan to the desert and discover entrepreneurial opportunities.
About the Competition
The Kubuqi Award - Desertification Control Business Plan Competition aims to enhance Hong Kong university students and postgradates’ understanding on global environmental issues and current status of desertication control.
Each team which contain 2 – 4 students should submit a sustainable and innovative desertification control business proposal. The selected finalists will have the opportunity to attend a field trip to Kubuqi Desert. After the investigation in the desert, finalist teams are required to submit the final business plan with a viable five-year financial model in late July and present their ideas to the Jury in August.
The Champion, 1st Runner-up and 2nd Runner-up will receive cash reward of HK$200,000, HK$100,000 and HK$50,000 respectively. Interested students should download the registration form and the participant declaration form HERE and submit the completed forms together with the required documents to info@kubuqiaward.hk by March 29, 2019 (Friday).

A briefing session for this competition will be held at PolyU on March 27, 2019 (Wednesday).
