Keyrock's Fall 2021 Investment Ideas Exchange Day is open for applications.
Activity Details
The Keyrock Investment Ideas Exchange Day (“Ideas Day”) aims to foster and nurture the next generation of aspiring investors in Hong Kong. A maximum of 6 finalists, selected by the panel of judges, will have an opportunity to present (in-person) his/her investment idea at the Ideas Day on November 11, 2021 and receive feedback from a distinguished panel of professional investors. Participants will vote to select the most compelling investment opportunity and the winner will be prioritised for an internship opportunity at Keyrock. This will be a great opportunity to network with HK-based professional investors, refine and improve your investment pitch and learn what a job in the investment management industry is like.
The criteria for investment ideas will be publicly-traded shares of a company that has a market capitalization of at least half a billion USD ($500,000,000) listed in Asia. An entry must provide an analysis of the security and must be no longer than four pages.
Areas to cover:
➢ What is the business model and business quality?
➢ How large is the addressable market?
➢ How is the quality of management?
➢ What is the company’s competitive positioning?
➢ Why is a position in the security a good investment?

Information Session (Exclusive to HKU Students) To allow the potential participants and related parties to better understand the application procedure and the corresponding obligations under the competition, the organiser will hold an online briefing session in ZOOM on Oct 26, 2021 (5:30pm to 6:30pm).
