Global Business Case Competition 2018

Global Business Case Competition 2018, as organized by Michael G. Foster School of Business, University of Washington, will be held in Seattle, United States from April 9 - 14, 2018.

This week-long competition provides students a chance to build cross-cultural relationships, experience the city of Seattle and most importantly, participate in two real-world case studies to analyze and develop a business recommendation. The competition culminates on the University of Washington campus, where each team presents their long case solution to a panel of judges who select the GBCC Champions. The judges of the competition are experienced professionals from the local and regional business community.

Sponsorship from Faculty
Cost of flight tickets and accommodation will be sponsored by the Faculty. For other expenses such as visa application fees (if any), local transportation, meals and entertainment activities which are not included in the official schedule of the competition, students need to bear the costs themselves.

Eligibility

  • FBE UG students who will NOT be on exchange in Semester 2 of 2017 - 18
  • Good command of English

Remarks:
Please bear in mind that participating in this case competition entails a significant commitment of time. Students will have to attend training sessions as arranged by the Faculty Advisor. Moreover, since this competition is held during regular semester period, participating students will need to apply for Leave of Absence. Please only apply if you are willing and able to make this commitment.
