FWD Springboard Student Challenge

You are cordially invited to participate in the FWD Springboard Student Challengeorganized by the FWD-HK

 

Details of the Challenge

Application Phase (Sep 1, 2021 - Oct 13, 2021)

Participants shall register on the platform, complete the questions in the participation form and submit a deck of up to 10 slides, including:

 

  • What is the problem statement? (what is the problem you are trying to solve?)
  • What is the solution?
  • Implementation Plan i.e. timeline, milestones, and resources (manpower and budget) needed to implement
  • An introduction of the team

Pitch Training (Nov 1, 2021 - Nov 12, 2021)

  • Shortlisted teams will receive training on how to pitch their ideas during this phase.
  • Before Nov 12, 2021, 23:59 GMT +8, teams will be asked to submit a two-minute pitching video. Participants are expected to apply the skills they learned during the training.
  • The date of the announcement of results will be on Nov 22, 2021.

Final Event (Nov 26, 2021)

  • The top team from each region will pitch their proposals to the FWD jury panel for 10 minutes, followed by 5 minutes of Q&A.

Eligibity

The Challenge is open to teams of 2-5 member teams who meet the following criteria:

  • Are currently enrolled in a tertiary institution
  • Are studying in or originate from Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, or Cambodia.
  • Are proficient in English (The final pitch must be presented in English.)
    Remark: Students can team up with 2-5 team members of choice, whether they are studying towards a different major or are at a different school, however all team members must be in the same location.
