To All UG Students,
 

China Mainland, Hong Kong and Macao Digital Economy Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition 2025 is now calling for applications.
 

The competition is co-organised by China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC) and The International Association of Business Management Simulation (IABMS). It aims to promote informatisation and advance the modernisation of economic and trade practices, and serve as a platform for students to demonstrate their talents and engage in exchange activities. Participants can choose to submit their entries and present in either Chinese (Mandarin) or English.
 

Interested students should form a team of 4 to 5 members and invite 1 to 2 faculty advisor(s) for the team. The team leader should click here to submit the online application (Traditional Chinese version only) by February 20, 2025.

The International Association of Business Management Simulation (IABMS) is now inviting students to join the “China Mainland, Hong Kong and Macao Digital Economy Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition 2025”.
 

About the Competition

The digital economy is the primary economic form following the agricultural and industrial economies. It relies on data resources as a key element, modern information networks as the main carrier, and the integrated application of information and communication technology and comprehensive digital transformation as significant driving forces, aiming to promote a new economic form that is more unified in terms of fairness and efficiency. To promote informatization and advance the modernization of economic and trade practices, there is a need to expedite the cultivation of applied, innovative, and multidisciplinary talents with capabilities in applying digital technology. Additionally, it is necessary to establish a platform for entrepreneurial youth from mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macao to showcase their skills and engage in exchange activities. The participating teams are required to grasp the current needs of society, plan for the future, and promote innovative solution in various sectors of the social economy. The categories of business proposal participating in the competition should closely align with the main categories that include: new economy, high technology, entertainment &social media and metaverse.
 

Applications

Interested students from the same university should form a team of 4 to 5 members and the team leader should submit the online application form at here or QR code by Tue, Feb 20, 2025.

The total number of quotas for participating team from Hong Kong is 6 and the spots are allocated on first-come first-served basis. Other teams exceeding the quota will be placed on the reserve list and these teams will only be considered as substitutes if one of the first six teams withdraws from the competition.
