AICPA & CIMA “Global Business Challenge 2019”

The Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (AICPA|CIMA) is calling for application to its Global Business Challenge 2019 now.

 

About the Competition

The AICPA & CIMA “Global Business Challenge 2019” aims to discover and develop business sense of students, develop their knowledge and career competitiveness, and cultivate more business leaders for future social development.

 

Each team which contain 4 HKU students should complete and submit the analysis reports (in PowerPoint format) of specific cases. Selected finalize teams are required to prepare a two-minute team video, 3-minute live talent show and give 20-minute case presentation at Hong Kong Semi Final on April 13, 2019. Winning teams will join the North Asia Final on June 1, 2019. Fellows Chartered Management Accountant (FCMA) and Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) will be the panel judges to select the winners of North Asia Final.

How to join

  • Sign up at bit.ly/2Hd7X20 as a team of 4 members
  • Submit powerpoint with title “GBC 2019 - the team's name” to hongkong@aicpa-cima.com
  • Students from the same university with no limit for majors and grades are welcome to join

Interest students should submit both the registration form and the powerpoint by HKT9:00 a.m. on March 24, 2019.

Disclaimer:

1)      Please note that student participants of this Competition will be responsible for their own safety while outside Hong Kong (provided that the teams enter the North Asia Final). Students must pay for all expenses related to the trip and arrange for their own insurance which covers the whole period of stay out of Hong Kong. Our Faculty will not be responsible for any expenses incurred in this competition.
