2022 DB-SNUbiz Global Startup Challenge

Seoul National University (SNU) Business School is calling for applications for their DB-SNUbiz Global Startup Challenge.
About the Competition
DB-SNUbiz Global Startup Challenge, organized by SNU and DB Group, is an international startup competition created to realize the dreams of talented Asian college students on track to become future leaders in business and technology while laying the foundation for fostering higher ideals.
The theme of the competition is focused on startup businesses. Participant, working as an individual or in teams of 2 – 3 students, should submit a proposal for an innovative and creative startup ideas. The proposal should include the introduction of a startup item, motivation for proposal, product/service description, competitive advantage element, market analysis, risks and limits, as well as the carry-out plans.
35 shortlisted teams for Round 2 are required to submit presentation videos and powerpoint slides by mid of June 2022. In Round 2, a Zoom video meeting consists a video review session followed by a 10-min Q&A session will take place from June 29 – 30, 2022. 14 finalist teams will enter the Final Round and go through a similar Zoom video meeting as Round 2 on July 20, 2022.
Winners of the Challenge will be awarded with cash prizes and a 7-day global trip* to Silicon Valley in August 2022.
* Overall cost including airfare, accommodation and meal expenses for the global trip are supported by the organizers.

How to join
- Sign up as an individual or a team of 2 – 3 students and submit a 3-page proposal HERE by 11:59 p.m. on April 30, 2022 (Saturday) (GMT+9)
- University students 1) with startup ideas, 2) who are preliminary founders dreaming of starting a business or 3) founders operating for less than 3 years are welcome to join

Please note that student participants of this Competition will be responsible for their own safety while outside Hong Kong (for winners who will join the global trip to Silicon Valley). Students must pay for all expenses related to the trip and arrange for their own insurance which covers the whole period of stay in U.S.A.
