2021 International Challenge of Data Analysis and Decision Making in Economics is calling for participation now.

 

Highlights of the Competition

 

Organized by the Chinese Association of Game Theory and Experimental Economics and co-organized by the Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, 2021 International Challenge of Data Analysis and Decision Making in Economics is an international economic event for undergraduate and postgraduate students.

 

Participating teams, comprise of 2 – 3 students, will compete on the Integrated Simulation Training Platform for Economics V2.2 and make decision under microeconomic and macroeconomic settings. Teams will go through online training via Skype in April and May. The organizer will make announcement by June 7 to successful teams (scoring at least 240 in the entry practice) who are qualified for the Preliminary Round of the contest to be held online in June 2021. Shortlisted teams from the Preliminary Round will advance to the Final Round (online) from September – October 2021 to compete for the top prize and win a prize of RMB$10,000 or equivalent.

Disclaimer:

1)            Please note that student participants of this Competition will be responsible for their own safety while outside Hong Kong (provided that the team win the Final Round) and should arrange sufficient insurance coverage for the Mainland trip. Students shall bear the consequences of their decisions for the Mainland trip.

2)            Students must pay all expenses related to the trip. Our School will not be responsible for any expenses incurred in this competition plus the Mainland trip.

3)            The data collected through the online application is solely administered by the organizers. The School shall not be held liable in the case that disputes, loss or any other situations arise.
