2018 International Quant Championship
FBE UG non-final year students are cordially invited to participate in the 2018 International Quant Championship.
About WorldQuant
WorldQuant (www.worldquant.com) is a quantitative asset management firm with over 600 employees spread across more than 25 offices in 15 countries. The firm also engages over 700 research consultants, many of which are university students.
About the 2018 International Quant Championship
The International Quant Championship is a team-based competition. Individuals can build a team of 3 to 6 individuals from the same university and compete initially at the local university level. The best team will be invited to travel to the regional/country semifinals, and finally the global finals in Singapore. In addition, special one-time stipends (from a total potential pool of up to $100,000) may also be available to qualifying top performers who become research consultants, interns or employees of WorldQuant.
A series of online information sessions will be conducted soon, all of which will be posted on the Events calendar in WebSim.

Remarks:
- The information collected through the application process is solely administered by the organizer. The Faculty shall not be held liable in the case that disputes, loss or any other situations arise.
- In case if any teams enter the regional/country semifinals and the global finals and are required to travel overseas, all team members need to be responsible for their own safety while outside Hong Kong. They need to bear all expenses related to the trips, arrange and pay for their own flight tickets between Hong Kong and the overseas destinations as well as insurance which covers the whole period of stay outside Hong Kong. Our Faculty will not be responsible for any expenses incurred in this competition.
